The roman villa of Echternach is now part of the cross-border network of roman attractions titled "Straßen der Römer" (Roman roads). The "Echternach Tourist Office", responsible for the administration of the remains of the roman villa, has organised a sort of inauguration party, and participants will meet at the youth hostel by the lake in Echternach. The Journal and Luxemburger Wort have published corresponding articles.
Luxembourg Youth Hostels and the 'Service des Sports' of the city of Luxembourg invite you to particpate in the 9th edition of the 'Mountain Bike Tour de Luxembourg'. The tour leads from Echternach, next to the german border, through the Mullerthal to Vianden. The tour then continues direction Lultzhausen and back to Echternach. The newspaper LeQuotidien has published a corresponding article in French.
Together with around 1.000 participants, the FLMP celebrated the 34th edition of the national day of hiking. Alongside the traditional distances of six, twelve and 21 kilometres, this year's edition also featured a "kid's walk" and "junior walk". The accompanying geocache was organised by Luxembourg's youth hostels who were also present with an information booth.
