Wiltz

The city of Wiltz, 4500 inhabitants, is situated in the north of the country in the heart of the Ardennes, hidden behind hilly landscapes with wide, quiet valleys.

The castle which stands high on a plateau and its slopes, is the symbol of the city. In Wiltz you find many marks of past times as the cross of justice from 1502, the National Monument of the general strike of 1942 or the Fatima grotto.

But the city is also known for its flower parade and its fascinating open-air theatre and music festivals.
