means that new people are involved in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the <a href=\"https:\/\/youthhostels.lu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>youth hostel association Luxembourg<\/strong><\/a> took over the project, a team has been working to develop new ideas and create new opportunities for young people, all the while keeping the &#8218;Carte Jeunes&#8216; initiative moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charel Kirtz became the new project manager for the European youth card in July 2026. With a background in social media content creation and experience in strategic project development, Charel is joining youth hostels Luxembourg at an exciting time for the European youth card and its network of partners across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charel&#8217;s goal is to contribute to a programme that supports young people and makes travel, culture, education and other opportunities more accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-pink-cj-color\">I want young people to see the European youth card as a common tool for travelling and going out, and as a way of helping them transition into adult life.<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-420af69a wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8d39b2df wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, it takes a team to make this happen.
