14 June marks the 40th anniversary of the Schengen Agreement. As a cosmopolitan and pro-European organisation we would like to celebrate this anniversary. The youth hostel Remerschen is offering its guests a package with 2 nights’ accommodation, 2 dinners and entrance to the brand new European Museum in Schengen. From 25 September, just in time for the start of the school year, little climbing fans aged 6 to 8 can once again conquer the climbing wall at the youth hostel every Thursday afternoon, except on school holidays! Our Mini-Koala climbing course offers an exciting, safe and playful environment in which children can gain their first climbing experience and develop valuable motor skills at the same time.

Through varied, playful exercises, children are motivated while developing their motor skills, body balance and muscle strength. But the focus is not only on physical development - self-confidence and self-esteem grow with every step.

No previous experience is required and with our experienced team of trainers each child is in the best of hands. Places are limited, so register early. Join now and fly high!

Requirements:
The courses are aimed at children between 6 and 8 years old.

Dates:

• 1st trimester (25.09.-18.12.2025)
• 2nd trimester (08.01. - 26.03.2026),

on Thursdays from 13.30 - 14.30 o’clock and from 14:45 - 15:45 o’clock.

Just in time for the start of school on September 25th, the popular Koala Kids climbing course for children aged 9 to 12 starts again at the youth hostel in Echternach. Whether your child wants to have their first climbing experience or improve their skills, an exciting mix of adventure, challenge and fun awaits them!

Under the guidance of our experienced trainer, children will discover their body balance, muscle strength and coordination through play. At the same time, the course builds self-confidence and helps young climbers recognize and expand their own limits. With patience and perseverance, they will improve their technique and celebrate personal achievements.

On Friday, 31 October 2025, our climbing hall will be transformed into a spooky climbing landscape full of thrills and Halloween flair. Whether you're a climbing pro or a beginner - everyone will get their money's worth on this evening!

Spooky initiation climbing: 17:30 - 19:30
Never climbed before? Now is the perfect time to give it a try! Sign up in advance and secure your spot - but be warned, there may be scary characters lurking in the dark corners of the climbing hall...

Experienced climbers can come along without booking and take on the challenges of the wall. But watch out: If you turn up in a spooky costume or take part in the initiation climbing session, you get free entry to free climbing!
