We are delighted to offer you this exceptional opportunity to experience Luxembourg at its greenest and most creative. From 7 May to 18 October, LUGA (Luxembourg Urban Garden) will transform the picturesque parks and valleys of Luxembourg City and Ettelbruck into a blooming paradise of urban garden art.
'Making the invisible visible'
LUGA is much more than an ordinary garden show. Under the theme 'Making the invisible visible', you are invited to rediscover the fascinating connection between nature and urban space. For six months, you can explore more than 11 km of exhibition trails in Luxembourg City and another 5 km in Ettelbruck, lined with colourful gardens, surprising agricultural landscapes and inviting meeting places.
And best of all, it is open to the public and completely free of charge.

‘The Lower World' by Susan Philipsz
The historic Aquatunnel, which runs entirely beneath the city centre, will be an absolute highlight of LUGA. Internationally renowned sound artist Susan Philipsz will transform this special place into an immersive art installation entitled 'The Lower World'. This unique fusion of sound, architecture and nature is open to visitors every day from 8 May to 18 October 2025 between 10:00 and 18:00 and is presented in collaboration with MUDAM - Musée d'Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean.
Make sure you book your ticket now - access to the tunnel is only possible during this period.
Four emblematic sites in the city of Luxembourg and one in Ettelbruck
Immerse yourself in the green soul of Luxembourg in four special places:
- The Édouard André City Park: a remarkable green jewel in the heart of the capital
- The Petruss Valley: a romantic landscape with steep cliffs and lush vegetation
- The Alzette Valley: a natural masterpiece that combines wild beauty with historical heritage
- Kirchberg: a contemporary district that combines European institutions and innovative green spaces
In the Nordstad, the exhibition unfolds in Ettelbruck, a lively link between rural and urban life with a strong agricultural tradition.
