Nursery
Larochette
Our nursery welcomes children aged from two months to three years who live in the municipality of Larochette.
We strive to provide a caring environment that is tailored to the needs of each child, enabling them to develop at their own pace. Educational projects, games, social activities, exploration and creativity are all supervised and supported by our staff. Our nursery is approved by the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth.

The nursery in Larochette has space for 27 children.
Dereldéier
- Age: 3 to 18 months
- Availability: 11 places
Deckelsmouk
- Age: 18 months to 3 years old
- Availability: 16 places
A Typical Day
Children are welcomed from 5:30 a.m. After a light breakfast, they are offered activities suited to their age group.
After lunch, it’s time for a nap.
Around 3:30 p.m., they are served a snack and parents can come to pick them up.
Between meals and from 4 p.m. onwards, children can play freely and take part in activities and projects.

Our educational work
As part of our educational work, we set ourselves objectives to promote and support children’s development. We therefore wish to:
- ensure that children’s basic needs are met
- accept each child as an individual
- provide them with the security, trust and attachment they need
- enable them to learn about themselves, their surroundings and their environment, and to respect them
- support and encourage them in their overall (emotional) development
- allowing children to be children, i.e. giving them the time they need for their individual development processes, without overworking or under-stimulating them
- encouraging children’s sense of community and social behaviour
- complementing the work of the family and maintaining good relations with parents
Our work is based on the national framework for non-formal education for children and young people.

register your child?
Children can be enrolled throughout the year, but admissions generally take place from September onwards, when older children go to the school. Children can be enrolled on a full-time or part-time basis. Please contact the nursery managers for further details.
