Of humans and stones: Geo-Pad Steekaul Beaufort
The geological heritage trail follows the former narrow-gauge railway to an open quarry which used to extract Luxembourgish sandstone. Your guide will introduce you to geology as well as the processes required for the extraction and the use of sandstone. The historical narrow-gauge railway ‘Josy’ of Beaufort will also be explained.
