You will also visit Larochette and its impressive medieval castle, which is perched on the rocks. Some planning and equipment tips for cyclists
To plan your route, you will need to:
- search for a route beforehand based on length, difficulty and altitude
- connect to the GPS or application, then download the GPX files and maps to use offline
- check the weather forecast
- tell someone about the route
- bring plenty of water and snacks
In terms of equipment, you’ll need:
- a bicycle in good condition and correctly equipped in accordance with the Luxembourg regulations must have: a bell; two independent front brakes; a white or yellow light; at least two reflectors per wheel, or a continuous reflective strip on the tyres; reflectors on the pedals; a red reflector at the rear; a red rear light
- weatherproof clothing (layering principle)
- a small backpack with water, snacks and a change of clothes
- sun protection
- a first-aid kit
- a mobile phone with a full battery and an external battery
The better prepared and equipped you are, the more you’ll be able to enjoy your trek.
