The youth hostel in Echternach has its own climbing wall, offering great fun for all ages. Come and try out this vertical sport in our impressive 14-metre-high hall! Whether you’re an experienced climber or a beginner, there’s something for everyone here.
Initiation courses and Free climbing
Our introductory courses are the perfect way for beginners to get a taste of the fascinating world of climbing. With the guidance of our expert instructors, you will learn the fundamentals and conquer your first few metres. You can then burn off some energy by practising free climbing.

Children aged 5 and above accompanied by a paying adult are admitted to free climbing sessions.
Climbing initiation lessons
Introductory sessions are open to anyone aged 5 and above. Children aged 10 and above can learn safety techniques.

Birthday Celebrations
Come and celebrate the ultimate birthday with us! Our exclusive package includes an exciting two-hour climbing course for up to sixteen children on our impressive fourteen-metre indoor wall. With the help of an expert instructor, young adventurers will learn how to tie knots and master safety techniques while enjoying the thrill of climbing!
Climbing courses for children
Does your child love sports and adventure? If so, the climbing courses at the youth hostel in Echternach are perfect for them! Our experienced instructors invite children aged 5 to 12 to discover the exciting world of climbing. No previous experience is necessary! Courses will take place during the first and second terms of the school year.
