Concentration and body tension are the keys to success in archery. We start playfully with simple exercises around bow and arrow. Set goals! Self-confidence and body tension require active cooperation from all participants and are the key to individual success. At the end, there can be a fun tournament for the whole group. Should the group be larger than the maximum number of participants, a whole day will be set aside and the group will be divided.

During this classic geocaching tour, the participants are sent on a discovery journey around the lake of Echternach in small groups in order to solve many a puzzle. Cleverness, concentration and cooperation will help you solve the puzzles that lie ahead of you on the way to the treasure. Only the right solutions will lead you to the goal. On this tour, the participants will learn how to use a GPS device and explore the flora and fauna of the lake of Echternach.

The way is - sometimes - the goal. We start with physical activity and lots of fun. We approach the topics of trust and cooperation together. A class contract, for example, can be drawn at the end of the all-day activity. We work with cooperation tasks and methods from experiential education. The complexity of the tasks is flexibly adapted to the group in order that the participants are challenged but never overstrained. The joint development of solution strategies in the group requires the cooperation of all and offers a protected framework to try out new patterns of action in the group/class.

Ready for something new? Then come to the large sports hall of the youth hostel Echternach and get to know the sport of Poull Ball. Poull Ball was developed by Belgian sports teacher Francis Poull especially for working with groups such as school classes. It is a fast-paced sports game with simple rules, where each player plays an important role in the game. Values such as fair play, cooperation and solidarity are at the heart of this sweaty activity and are addressed through the medium of sport.

Disc golf, also known as Frisbee golf, around the lake of Echternach! We can provide you with all the equipment you need to set up your own course. This includes four high quality disc golf baskets, a variety of frisbees, instructions and scorecards. Grab a disc and enjoy the fun of playing in the fresh air!

Would you like to explore the region and discover the Mullerthal with its sandstone cliffs and numerous watercourses? Then join us on a mountain bike tour. The cycle path will take you up to the Berdorf plateau, where the route continues through the forest at a more athletic pace.

Salvete! Greetings young Romans. With these words, we would like to take you on an exciting journey to the ancient Rome. How did the children play and how did they learn new things? What was life like in a Roman villa? What herbs did the Romans know and use? You may test your skills, discover the Roman numbers and create a mosaic. You will also learn how to write on wax tablets and how to create a bookmark on papyrus, before getting back to the 21th century again.

During this tour you will discover the remains of the old city walls of Echternach. You will then wander through the municipal park to the basilica and the ‘Centre de documentation’, where you will learn all there is to know about the Dancing Procession of Echternach.

You will take the bus from Echternach-Centre to Consdorf-Gare, where our guide will await you. Throughout the hike you will have to squeeze through bizarre rock formations, narrow passages such as the ‘Rittergang’ and ‘Déiwepëtz’, followed by the pitch-dark crevice ‘Kuelscheier’ which is over a 100 m long.

Your guide will be waiting for you at the Martbusch campsite in Berdorf. You will then follow him through the ‘Ruetzbéchschlëff’ massif. Many spectacular and exciting rock formations are waiting to be discovered along the road. With a bit of luck and good weather you can even observe climbers at the climbing rock of ‘Wanterbaach’. You return to Martbusch through spectacular crevices, called ‘Sieweschlëff’.
