In summer, upon prior request, the youth hostel Lultzhausen offers canoe, kayak and stand-up-paddle rentals.

Times

From 27.05. - 04.06.2023 and 01.07. - 17.09.2023
Wednesday - Sunday: 10.00 a.m. or at 2.00 p.m.

10. - 11.06.2023 / 17. - 18.06.2023 / 23. - 25.06.2023
either at 10.00 a.m. or at 2.00 p.m.

Available material

• Canoes with min. 2 and max. 3 seats
• Kayaks for one person
• Stand-Up-Paddling boards, for one person

Prices per boat (individual guests)*

* Non-member prices will be charged when booking online. 3 € per boat will be refunded in cash upon presentation of the Hostelling International youth hostel membership card at check-in. If you are a member of our association, please bring your valid membership card. If you are not yet a member, but want to apply for it, please order the card here. 

** The deposit will of course be given back to you if the boats/SUPs are returned without any damage caused by you.

Age

Canoe rental

• Children and young people from 5 - 7 years accompanied by 2 full-paying adult per canoe.  From 8 - 17 years accompanied by one full-paying adult per canoe. 
• Per canoe: min. 2, max. 3 persons

Kayak rental

• Children and teenagers from 10 - 17 years accompanied by a full-paying adult per child.
• Per kayak: max. 1 Person

SUP rental

• Children and teenagers from 10 - 17 years accompanied by a full-paying adult per child. 
• Per SUP: max. 1 Person

Rules

1. 100 € for deposit per boat to be paid on spot by credit card or cash. 
2. All participants are obliged to wear a life jacket (provided by us).
3. The participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
4. All participants, both children and young people as well as adults must be able to swim (for at least 15 minutes).
5. During the time of rental, the client is responsible for the rented equipment. This means that the customer must ensure that he/she carries the equipment to the water and returns it to the youth hostel at the end of the activity.
6. Private items can be taken onto the water at the customer's own risk and responsibility. However, the youth hostel cannot be held liable for destroyed or lost items.
